Poultry Africa 2022

On the 5th and 6th of October 2022 we, Arthur and Jenette, attended Poultry Africa in Kigali with a small booth. Our distributors from Uganda were our great help. It was our first time on this African exhibition. We were very much surprised by the positive meetings and conversations we had with many interesting parties from different African countries. We met people working for different types of organizations: trading companies, farmers, feed millers, veterinary doctors, students etc. We were impressed by the enthusiasm about our products, especially the concentrates and premixes. Current market prices are on a high level, so what all parties have in common is that they try to find solutions for cheaper feed. This can be reached by using concentrates and premixes to be mixed with local ingredients. The result is an affordable high quality feed. We added many interested parties to our contacts and have many inquiries to follow up. It was good to be there!

Meet our colleague Tirza

My name is Tirza Voorsluijs and I’m 28 years old.
I live in Papendrecht , very close to the office, together with my boyfriend.
I started working for Wafi BV in 2016 after my study Commercial Economics.
In the company I’m responsible for the export, making sure you will receive your products in the most efficient way possible, including the right documents. This is a big challenge in the current market. What I love most about my job is that no day is ever the same, you never know what to expect. Also staying in touch with the clients, try to keep them satisfied, is something I like.
After working hours you will find me in the gym or running outside, working out is my biggest hobby which I try to do as much as possible.

Wafi team in Uganda

Last month we have visited our partners in Uganda. We have met a lot of happy farmers who are very satisfied with our products! We provided technical support to the farmers but also learned a lot ourselves about the way of farming in Uganda. We want to thank our partners and customers for the hospitality we experienced!
